The classic resume
of a director.

Only without the story about
the Super 8 camera at the age of 10.

Clients and agencies
I had the pleasure to work for

Procter & Gamble, Mercedes, Datev, Kaufland, Huawei, Red Bull, SumUp, JBL, Fitness First, Coca-cola, eDarling, Volkswagen, Peta, Miles & More, About You, Panasonic, Zeiss, Grohe, …

Ogilvy, Saatchi, Publicis, McCann, Jung von Matt, Serviceplan, LaRed, TheGoodwins, Thjnk, Oliver Voss, UDG, …

I studied directing with a focus on advertising at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and shot my first TV commercial during that time. Meanwhile, I was at UCLA in Los Angeles on a scholarship. Shortly after that, one of my films was shown at the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase and since then I've been making national and international commercials for clients like Volkswagen, Huawei, Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Red Bull, DATEV or Mercedes-Benz; have worked with agencies such as Serviceplan, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis, DDB, Ogilvy and Jung von Matt, and together with them have won awards at Cannes Lions, ADC Germany, the New York Film Festival and the German Business Film Award. But what drives me: I love telling great stories in a short length.

If you're still reading,
I might as well elaborate a bit:

I was born and raised in Hamburg. As a child, I already had a vivid imagination and drove my family crazy with it. But I didn't really shine in my school career. Steeper than the passed tasks in tests and exams, my interest in advertising increased during my school years. Again and again I wanted to see the "Witzigste Werbespots der Welt" (meaning something like "funniest commercials in the world") on TV Friday nights and searched the Internet for great international commercials. Shortly before graduation, I made a film about my school, which allowed me to answer the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?" very convincingly.

After I did my first internship at the commercial film production company Markenfilm, I also wanted to get to know the agency side and worked at Jung von Matt as a Junior Editor. During this time I had the opportunity to work with great creatives for clients like Mercedes-Benz or Ikea. This resulted in work that won at all the renowned international festivals.

A year later, I was accepted at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg to study directing with a focus on advertising. During this time I realized a social spot for the Diakonie, which was shown on TV for over a year. After running at the Saatchi & Saatchi New Director's Showcase, I was lucky enough to get a scholarship at UCLA in Los Angeles. Later, I was drawn back to the north of Germany, where I have been living with my wife near Hamburg ever since. I enjoy traveling and am working on increasing my collection of photography books. And what started early with a blossoming imagination has now turned into a passion for working creatively for brands and realizing film projects.
